Sjoerd De Jong

Sjoerd specializes in the Unreal Engine and has been working with the engine since 1999. He has worked extensively with all three generations and has performed work on four commercial Unreal Engine titles.

As well as having over six years of professional experience and ten in the (Unreal) mod community, Sjoerd has worked for various companies, both onsite and offsite in various genres, themes and styles. Sjoerd has also won a dozen prizes in the world's biggest game creation contest, the Make Something Unreal contest (UT2004 and UT3), including a range of first places.

In addition, Sjoerd is the author of "The Hows and Whys of Level Design" and "The Hows and Whys of the Games Industry", which are available from his website.

Jeroen has been into Level design and 3d modeling from a very early age, and decided that this was the thing that will give meaning to his life.

He has been with Game-Artist.net from the very beginning, and became Administrator somewhere in august of 2007.

He hasn't written any book, or made any training videos, but he does like game-art very much.
